About Me

My photo
I was 53 in June. I feel like I'm 30. I live in Cold Cold Wisconsin. But, I love it here.. I found fabric and quilting about 8 years ago.. I fell in love with it.. I also enjoy paper art.. I'm not sure how I kept my sanity before I started doing art. I found rubber stamps about 10 years ago and have gone on to anything and everything.. I have been blessed with creative talents and love to express myself in art. I have 2 children .. one girl who is 15 and a boy who is 17. My husband and I love to hunt, canoe and just enjoy the outdoors together.. We all love the outdoors and go up to northern Wisconsin as often as possible. I'm a 14 year breast cancer survivor.. you can view more of my art at http://laurakrasinskiquilts.blogspot.com www.picturetrail.com/barngirl or my teaching, lecture and vending schedule here http://laurakrasinskisartontherun.blogspot.com

Guess who's coming to bloglife...

I have been bugging my dear friend Chris to start a blog for a few years.. the problem was that she lives in the boonies and always only had dial up... but, thanks to technology lo and behold she has high speed now... Sooooo YEAH!!!  She started a blog.. 6 years ago I took my first art quilt class from Chris.  We sparked almost an instant friendship.  We have grown to be best friends through the years.  We have so many things in common.  And our husbands are like twin sons from different mothers... that is the scary part.  I want to welcome Chris to Bloglife... and if you want to keep tabs on her too you can see her first post here http://clkquilt.wordpress.com/
Chris is a wonderful mentor and her blog is going to be really cool.. I don't want to spoil anything so that is all I am going to say... so check on her now.. and check back again soon... You can also see Chris on Facebook... Congrat's Chris.. my dear friend..!!!
Oh I almost forgot..Chris teaches all over the country, and has written 2 books.. She is the best darn quilter I know...
